Pre-Purchase Timber Pest Inspections

Before purchasing a property it is vital to carry out a Pre-Purchase Timber Pest Inspection in accordance with AS 4349.3-2010.

These inspections cover :

• Termite damage (past and present)
• Woodborers
• Woodrot & Fungal Decay
• Moisture Readings

Termites and other Timber Pest cause destructive timber damage. Pests are currently attacking homes to the ratio of 1 in 3 and up from 1 in 5. They work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without pay. They can find ways inside any structures including brick and concrete. They do not need timber to travel.

Our experienced operators are able to discover the evidence if present. It is piece of mind not to mention cost of repair.

Inspections cover interior and exterior of buildings, roof void or voids, outbuildings, fences, landscaping timber and all plants and stumps.

At the completion of the inspection a 10 page type report is provided which details any findings of live activity or inactive workings which can be sent direct to your Settlement Agent.

Termite Inspection Report

Termite Inspection Report carried out in accordance with AS 3660.2-2000. This report is lower standard for properties already purchased. This should be carried out at least every 12 months.

Only Termite (White Ants) and Woodrot are reported on. This inspection does not cover borers, or moisture readings.
